I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) serving teens ages 13+ and adults across Washington through telehealth. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and substance use concerns, and I aim to create a space that feels supportive, down to earth, and focused on progress. My approach is practical and collaborative, using CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients build stability, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful changes one step at a time.
Hi! I'm Brianna. Seeking out a new therapist can be overwhelming. While it often boils down to the appropriate fit, I won’t pretend that I know what that 'fit' is for you. Ultimately, I believe there is something within you that knows what is best for you. My job involves helping us listen to this inner voice and hear what else it has to say.
I specialize in grief therapy and shame recovery for midlife professionals navigating the nightmare of traumatic loss.
I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to connect to others through compassion, meaningful conversations and authenticity. I started my own mental health journey when I was affected by crippling anxiety in my twenties. I felt alone and ashamed and really just needed someone to listen compassionately. I now want to offer this to others.
I received my BA in Social Sciences from Washington State University and went on to finish my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University. I have three years of clinical experience and have worked with individuals, couples, and families. My main focus is: self-esteem, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, life transitions, relationship issues, and communication.
I am a good match for clients who want to:
I am not a good match for those who require very specialized care, including clients who are experiencing active:
I am also not a good match for those who are seeking therapy with the primary or secondary goal of obtaining a letter or testimony from a therapist for legal, employment reasons, etc.
As someone who suffers from anxiety, I understand how impactful therapy can be. If you are constantly in your own head, overthinking every decision, feeling anxious, or worrying about letting people down, I can help. You may be someone who looks like they have it together on the outside, but on the inside, you're overwhelmed and exhausted. You might struggle to say no and set boundaries or to stop the racing thoughts you have. If this sounds familiar, you are not alone - and it doesn't have to stay this way.
Your Path to a More Fulfilling Life
I am an open-minded and nonjudgmental therapist dedicated to providing a truly safe place for everyone. With over 17 years of experience as a mental health counselor, I welcome all individuals and am experienced in supporting those with alternative lifestyles and unique situations.
