As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, my approach is rooted in the belief that therapy should be as human as it is healing. My path here was shaped by years of living and working within low-income communities, where I saw firsthand the systemic barriers that keep BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals from getting the care they deserve. This sparked my mission to provide truly accessible, inclusive support.
In our sessions, you’ll find a space defined by warmth, humor, and genuine collaboration. I don’t just see a set of symptoms; I see a whole person. With a background in Anthropology and Social Work, I’m dedicated to understanding the 'big picture' of your life, helping us build a meaningful partnership where you feel fully seen and accepted.I specialize in working with clients navigating Trauma, Depression, Gender-Based/Sexual/Emotional Abuse, Neurodivergence (including ADHD and ASD), Relationship Issues, Life Transitions, and Self-Esteem challenges.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained? You're not alone—and you don't have to navigate it alone. With many years in the mental health field, I offer a compassionate and personalized approach to therapy, with a focus on helping individuals manage anxiety, depression and helping with self esteem issues. I began my career in community mental health, where I gained deep insight into the challenges people face and the strength it takes to seek help.
Finding and embracing your authentic self is a journey that can be challenging. Figuring out how to cope in a healthy way with what the world throws at us can be difficult. I'm interested in working with you to figure out how you want your life and experiences to be, and how to start making your way there. I've been practicing for over 5 years, working mainly with LGBTQ+ young adults and adults struggling with anxiety, gender, and interpersonal communication issues.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I have over 7 years of post graduate experience working with individuals and couples.
