I value mindfulness and have served a diverse population from teens to 60 and over.
I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges in a warm, judgment-free space.
My name is Randy Carmack, LISW, LICDC. I have been working in the therapeutic field since 2014. My approach to therapy is solution-based, keeping the focus on you through a person-centered lens. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you develop skills-based solutions that can be used whenever you need them. The goal of our interactions is to empower you to live the life that best fits you. I am an expert in change, and you are the expert in what you want to change. I have experience working with multiple ethnic, racial, and LGBTQ+ populations. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for you to be your authentic self. I am proficient in working with substance use disorders, PTSD, Anxiety disorders, Depressive disorders, Adjustment disorders, and psychotic disorders. Additionally, I work closely with outside medication management psychiatry organizations. I look forward to working alongside you to achieve the greatness that you desire for yourself.
Do you desire healing from past events, struggling in life, overwhelmed and not feeling like you're reaching your potential? Every person is unique, and I honor that by emphasizing your God-given strengths and providing you with tools for success in life. You are the expert on your life, but sometimes having a supportive partner in exploring your life can help. If you're close to the Hilliard, Westerville or Johnstown, I'd love to meet you in person. I can also see you online. This comes in handy with Ohio winter weather.
I believe all people are capable of change and growth, with the right support and encouragement. I'll be there to empower you to overcome growth barriers and be there to rejoice in your successes. I'm honored to be that collaborative partner. I invite you to reach out, take that first step towards wholeness in your life.
Life does not slow down when we need it to. You may feel scattered, unworthy or uncertain. You have lost something or someone—or you live in fear of it happening. Pressure is building and coming at you from all directions, even yourself, and you can’t manage it all. Whatever challenge or chapter in life you are facing, you do not have to tackle it alone. This is your time to choose to slow down, to pause for yourself and what matters most to you. I can help you do that.
I help clients understand how their experiences shape their present struggles and help build internal safety, self-understanding, and resilience.
My work is especially suited for individuals who have experienced trauma and feel its effects in their daily lives. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or others, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating. Trauma can leave people feeling alone, misunderstood, invisible, or unsafe—even within their own bodies and minds.
I often work with clients navigating complex trauma, trauma-related addiction, abuse specializing in DV/IPV, neurodivergent and identity struggles, anxiety, and depression. Many are individuals who have spent years surviving difficult experiences and are now seeking a deeper level of healing, understanding, and stability.
Clients who tend to benefit most from working with me are those who want more than symptom relief—they want to understand themselves more deeply and build a life that feels meaningful, authentic, and connected. Their goals often include feeling safer in their own bodies, reducing emotional reactivity and overwhelm, improving relationships, and developing a stronger sense of identity and self-trust.
My name is Abby Berkey. I am a trauma therapist. I have been working for over 20 years in the field. I am also a certified personal trainer and a nutrition coach.
I have been in the field since 2017 working with multiple populations from pre-teens to late adulthood. I hold an independent license in social work and chemical dependency. Aiding others to build empowerment has become a passion for me. I hold a masters degree in social work from Ohio University. I am a trained EMDR therapist. At this time I am seeing individuals for bi-weekly sessions.
