I’m a licensed therapist who believes therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and real. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem issues, with a focus on helping you feel more grounded and confident in your day-to-day life. My approach is practical and compassionate—I help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and make changes that fit your life. Most importantly, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and never judged.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with advanced training in trauma-informed, attachment-based care, including specialized training at the intersection of gender, sexuality, and faith. I am also a doctoral candidate in a program focused on spiritual formation and relational neuroscience, which informs my clinical work through an emphasis on attachment, emotional regulation, meaning-making, and embodied change.
My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in the context of safe, attuned relationships and that symptoms often make sense when understood within a person’s story, nervous system, relational history, and spiritual or cultural context. I strive to create a therapy space that feels grounded, compassionate, and collaborative—where clients don’t feel rushed to “fix” themselves but are supported in understanding what their system has learned to do to survive.
I hold a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have extensive experience working in both clinical and leadership roles within counseling settings. My professional background includes supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relational stress, identity exploration, and major life transitions.

Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Ohio. I have worked with various populations that range from children to older adults. As a social worker, I want to focus on meeting my clients where they are and become a supportive person.
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support — whether it’s a small step or a huge leap — takes real courage. If life feels messy, overwhelming, or hard to navigate alone, therapy can give you the grounding, clarity, and tools you need. I work with people moving through major life transitions, the challenges of early parenthood, complicated parent–child dynamics, relationship struggles, trauma, self-worth concerns, and emotions that feel difficult to name or express. You deserve space to slow down, understand yourself, and feel supported.
Spring is a time for renewal and what better time to focus on renewing yourself and your life! In my 16 years as a therapist, I've supported many clients to take a new look at their life and to move toward that renewal. While therapy might feel scary at first, my training and support will make it less so. I can teach you skills through therapies including DBT and EMDR that will allow you to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma and more. Your life doesn't have to feel out of control or difficult to manage. I'm here to help. Allow me to walk with you as we work together toward building the healthier life you want and deserve!
I am a licensed independent social worker in the state of Ohio with a supervisory designation (LISW-S). I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are—emotionally, mentally, and situationally—at each moment in their journey. My approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a supportive, solution-focused framework that empowers individuals to move forward with clarity and confidence. With experience in both private practice and a local government agency, I specialize in working with grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. I also provide trauma-informed care and support for family members navigating the complexities of caring for loved ones diagnosed with dementia. My passion lies in helping clients recognize and build upon their strengths to create a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life.
In my work with my clients, I strive to practice radical genuineness, meaning I work hard to connect with you as a real live person. To do this, I share pieces of my life such as my interest in drawing or Dungeons and Dragons, parts of my identity including being a transgender person with ADHD, and how I feel in the room, as in if I feel sad or excited about something we talk about. I have found that being present and transparent with my clients has helped me foster trust and build relationships which have led to feelings of belonging and experiencing meaningful change.
My name is Jeannine Taylor. I earned a Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and a Doctoral Degree from Kent State University. I also am Assistant Professor of Family & Community Medicine at Northeast Ohio College of Medicine. I enjoy helping people balance work and family; navigate the challenges before, during and after divorce; and cope with changes associated with midlife and later life. I also help clients make career decisions and establish educational goals.
PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT ACCEPTING NEW COUPLES AS OF MARCH 6, 2026; HOWEVER, I AM ACCEPTING NEW INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS.
