In my work, I am passionate about creating a safe and collaborative environment that can serve as a catalyst for self-understanding and change. I am warm and empathetic. I strive to help clients improve coping skills, interpersonal relationships, heal past trauma, and build self esteem and understanding. I have years of experience working with ages ranging from young children to adults on both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
Are you feeling burned out or questioning whether your work is sustainable long-term? Are you successful on paper but constantly feeling like it’s not enough, or like you’re not enough?
I work with people who feel stuck between who they are and what others expect of them. This often shows up as burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling stuck in a career that no longer fits. As a career changer from the finance sector, I understand firsthand how deeply our work can impact our mental health and overall fulfillment.
In our work together, we’ll untangle these patterns and explore where they come from. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and multicultural experiences. This includes exploring how culture, identity, family expectations, and systemic pressures shape your experiences and sense of self. I aim to create a space where you can be honest about what’s not working, make sense of your experiences, and begin to relate to yourself with more clarity and self-compassion.

As a humanist, I believe in the inherent worth to every single human being. I am guided by the ethos of a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step, and it is with each movement that we get closer to where we want to be. Through intentional effort we encounter change, embrace healing, and a foster a fruitful fulfilling life.
Ultimately, I believe we are all human—doing our best to live meaningful lives in a beautiful yet challenging world. I practice with this mindset and with the belief in our innate capacity to heal when given the right support and guidance. My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered. I view my clients as the experts in their own lives, holding the answers within themselves. While finding this path can be difficult, with the right support, growth and transformation are truly possible.
I am a licensed therapist in New Jersey (LPC) and New York (LMHC), with specialized training in the treatment of trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression. I am certified to provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to help reduce symptoms of depression, trauma, and other forms of emotional distress. Additionally, I am certified in the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)—a therapeutic intervention that supports nervous system regulation through filtered music.
I hold a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Forensics and Addiction, as well as additional certification in trauma treatment. With over ten years of experience in the field, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices in my work. My experience spans diverse settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practice.
You’re successful on the outside—but inside, something still feels stuck. You’ve done the work. You understand your patterns. You know what should help. And yet, anxiety, burnout, overwhelm, or old emotional loops keep showing up. It can feel frustrating, even discouraging, to have so much insight but still feel like you can’t fully shift.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you’re not broken. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning, self-aware individuals who feel caught in what I call a “mental and nervous system loop”—where insight alone isn’t enough to create real, lasting change.
This is where our work begins.
I’m a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience working in ICU. My background in critical care shaped how I understand the deep connection between physical and mental health, especially how stress, trauma, and anxiety often show up in the body. I transitioned into psychiatry after witnessing firsthand the emotional toll the pandemic had on patients, families, and healthcare workers. It became clear to me that supporting people’s mental health is just as essential as treating physical conditions.
**Important for New Jersey patients seeking STIMULANT treatment:
Due to New Jersey state regulations, patients prescribed stimulant medications are required to attend an in-person visit at least once every three months. These visits are scheduled at my SoHo office in Manhattan.
Please note that there is a $75 facility fee for in-person visits to cover the cost of the clinical space. This fee is separate from insurance and is due at the time of the visit.**
These challenging times can strain our abilities to cope. You may find you are more fatigued or more irritable; many are feeling the stress in important relationships. It has been an especially difficult time for children and teens, and their parents. It's a good time to get some support. I believe that healing starts with self compassion. I can help you to cultivate a compassionate curiosity that honors your strengths and explores the areas where you would like to change and grow.

Headway helps you find expert trauma-informed care — from finding the right therapist or psychiatrist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
