Hi! I’m Katy, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and reclaim their lives. Using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I support clients in overcoming trauma, anxiety, and the challenges that come with major life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to process past experiences and build a future rooted in resilience. Together, we’ll develop practical tools to strengthen emotional well-being, gain meaningful insights, and cultivate greater clarity and confidence in your life. No challenge is too big or too small—I’m here to help you take the next step toward the life you want.
I have extensive experience working with complex trauma, attachment issues, family, and spiritually and religiously-based trauma.
Whether you are navigating the profound identity shift of motherhood, the evolving dynamics of marriage, or a significant change in life status, you deserve a space where your voice is the priority. I provide a dedicated environment for women to process these transitions, offering the empathy and clinical support needed to reclaim your sense of self. Together, we will navigate the complexities of your various roles to find balance, resilience, and a clear path forward.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for integrative, whole-person care. By blending the principles of integrative psychiatry with a deep understanding of adult medicine, I am committed to treating the mind and body as a unified system. I believe that true wellness requires dedicated attention to both.
I am an experienced behavioral health provider and health educator dedicated to treating patients with respect, dignity, and a focus on overall wellbeing, personal goals, recovery, and safety.
My professional background includes over 13 years as a nurse clinician and nurse practitioner for the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) treating adult patients. Additionally, I spent 5 years at MAAS in New Haven specializing in opioid and alcohol use disorders, and I have provided outpatient behavioral health treatment for adults of all ages at LifeBridge Community Services for over 5 years.
