I have experience providing talk therapy for children and families experiencing mental health and substance abuse challenges. I work with clients ages 14 and up who are coping with depression, chronic illness, anxiety, stress, grief, trauma and other life changes.
I graduated from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and I was selected to participate in the Student Government Association, The Trauma Education Connection, and Title IV-E Program. I received additional expertise in trauma informed practice.
I am licensed clinical and forensic social worker with over 6 years of experience providing services to children and families. Highly experienced in trauma informed practice, depression, adjustment in life transitions, grief, parenting, family relationships, and Anxiety.

My background includes working as a psychotherapist in community mental health and substance-use treatment, collaborating with holistic wellness professionals, and supporting both regional and international retreats. I also specialize in helping clients heal from trauma, offering a steady and compassionate space to rebuild safety and connection with themselves.

Hello, I’m Katlyn Hash, but you can call me Katie. Before diving into my professional background, I’d like to share a little about myself. I’m a proud pet owner, with a 27-year-old turtle named Speedy, along with my three cats—Stella, Mufasa, and Toothless—and my energetic puppy, Piper.
One of my greatest joys is writing this bio to connect with you and support your journey toward reaching your full potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Counseling in 2020 and later earned my Master of Education in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in May 2023.
