My name is Shirley Bradley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Woker in the state of CT and a Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice in the state of SC. I graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 2012. I am a very well-rounded therapist, working with patients with substance abuse, psychiatric issues, depression, anxiety, family therapy, children in crisis and hospice/end of life planning with patients and families. I also have a lot of experience with grief/bereavement support groups.
I am a compassionate person, who currently serves as a Travel Social Worker, where I provide essential individual and group therapy to clients in need by focusing on clinical assessments and crisis interventions. I ensure that clients experiencing self-injurious behaviors receive ongoing support. My commitment to improving mental health is further highlighted by my role as Clinical Director at Pinnacle Point Supportive Services, where I was instrumental for 14 years. In this position, I overseen a team of therapists, facilitate therapy sessions for both children and adults, and engage in court-related matters. With a strong foundation in therapy and clinical supervision, I have developed skills in treatment planning, documentation, and quality assurance.
Hi, I’m Megan Drizin, a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Radical Roots Counseling in Charleston, SC. I believe therapy should feel like an honest, human connection — a space where you can show up exactly as you are and be met with compassion, curiosity, and understanding.
My work is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in attachment theory, helping clients explore how past experiences shape the way they move through the world today. I integrate approaches like DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based therapy to support healing, growth, and emotional regulation.
I specialize in working with perinatal and postpartum mental health, life transitions, relationship dynamics, anxiety, and trauma. I’m passionate about helping clients move beyond survival and toward authenticity — learning to trust themselves, honor their needs, and build a life that feels aligned with their values.
In our work together, I focus on both insight and action: understanding why patterns developed and learning how to create sustainable change. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative — I value laughter, honesty, and the ability to hold space for both pain and hope.
I believe healing happens when we feel seen and safe enough to grow. My goal is to help you reconnect to your roots, strengthen your sense of self, and create meaningful change that lasts far beyond the therapy room.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (with 21 years of medical experience) specializing in grief, trauma, life transitions, and the emotional impact of medical emergencies on individuals, families. As a counselor, I provide a safe, steady space to process what you’ve been through, make sense of the pain, and begin healing at your own pace—so you can reconnect with yourself, restore meaning, and move forward with greater clarity, strength, and hope.
You deserve a therapist who knows the terrain. I’ve been where you are. I have experienced mental health from every angle—as someone who has done the deep personal work, as someone who has navigated the pain of losing loved ones to suicide, and now as a therapist. When I suggest a tool or a shift in perspective, it’s because I practice what I preach. I know the freedom that comes from setting boundaries and building a life you truly love, and I want that same transformation for you.
A perspective shaped by the world. Growing up with over 30 exchange students from around the globe taught me early on that everyone’s "normal" looks different. This curiosity follows me outside the office, too. I’m currently on a mission to spend at least one night in every state—I only have five left to go! This love for travel and culture keeps my mind open and my spirit curious—traits I bring into every session we share.
Hello and nice to "meet" you! I have been a licensed counselor since 2004 (SC #4579 and NC #22747). I earned a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Psychology and Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill in 1999. Early in my career, I focused my work with children, adolescents, and families, as well as adults. Since then, I have narrowed my focus to victims of trauma, First Responders, and those Depressive Disorders and Anxiety Disorders.
If you feel overwhelmed by a sea of things outside of your control— facing a new health diagnosis, a deep loss or the weight of anxiety—I am here to help you anchor yourself. I am a multi-state licensed therapist (CA, MA, WA, MD, SC) offering flexible scheduling coast to coast. I am dedicated to helping you move from feeling boxed in to feeling empowered to make changes. My approach is centered on controlling the controllables. We will work together to identify the practical steps you can take today whether you are navigating through a career change or new stage in your life, or processing the deeper emotional impact of grief, trauma or chronic illness. I look forward to helping you find your footing and reclaim your sense of agency.
