As an independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW) with over 13 years of experience, it is my privilege to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges and opportunities. I received my MSW and Doctorate from Boston University.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples facing a variety of concerns, including: mood disorders, trauma, career and life transitions and improving personal relationships.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides trauma-informed therapy for adults, with a focus on anxiety, perfectionism, and attachment-related concerns. I earned my degree from the University of Alabama and have specialized training in evidence-based, attachment-focused approaches.
Hello, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), currently licensed in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I received my Masters from Boston College and have more than 10 years of Licensed Clinical Behavioral Health experience. My clinical background derives from psychiatric inpatient, corrections, outpatient services, family/school/ community-based programming, and emergency crisis services. Culturally sensitive, I am always eager to serve diversified backgrounds, ages and communities.
Throughout my experiences, I have worked with several diversified populations, which I take great pride in. These opportunities have allowed me to gain first hand experience in truly understanding the value in meeting others where they are. This has been one of the greatest lessons I've embraced as a Clinician.
Welcome!
Therapy offers us the opportunity to make sense of our questions, deepen our values, and take authorship of our narratives. As a licensed clinical social worker, I hope to support you in that work.
I serve clients experiencing anxiety, life transitions, grief, and relationship concerns, and I am passionate about working with survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual violence. I carry a Master of Social Work from the University of New England, and I have certifications in Reproductive Health Leadership and Aging. This spring, I am pursuing certification in perinatal mental health.
Welcome! I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over a decade of experience in mental health care. My background includes working with diverse populations, from children and adolescents to older adults facing complex psychiatric conditions.
I began my career as a nurse in inpatient pediatric psychiatric units, specializing in neurodivergent populations. Additionally, I have extensive experience in acute drug and alcohol detox centers, where I helped manage co-occurring substance use disorders and psychiatric diagnoses. My work with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder has further deepened my expertise in integrated psychiatric care.
Hi There!
I am Amanda and I have been a practicing Therapist since 2016. I have a wide range of experience including: Treatment Resistant Depression and Anxiety, PTSD, and Grief and Loss.
I am warm, patient, and direct. I want to help you make the most of life and develop faith in yourself to overcome life challenges and turn them for good.
My journey stems from my own story of resilience in the face of hardships. I became a therapist because I have always wanted to help people through some of their darkest hours. Being exposed to some dark hours myself, I know that it is difficult to do it alone. When you have someone to confide in, assist you through the hard times, and just let you know that you are not alone, makes a difference.
My therapeutic approach includes CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Relational Therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, SFT, EMT, Gestalt, and just speaking like a human being. I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. My approach is relational and personalized—we'll explore your story together, build coping tools, and move toward healing with curiosity, courage, and care.
Therapy with me is real, down-to-earth, and never boring. I mix honesty, humor, and heart to make the process comfortable. I help adults manage emotions, build confidence, and tackle life's challenges with tools that work. Think of it as a safe space to be yourself, grow, and maybe laugh along the way.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than 17 years' experience working with children, adults, and families, the last 7 years in teletherapy. I received my master's degree in psychology with a focus on marriage and family therapy in 2011, and I have completed certification training to be a functional family therapy supervisor. I also provide Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, a gold-standard evidence-based psychotherapy.
