I learned that therapy can change a life when therapy changed my life. In 2009 I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Masters of Social Work degree. My skills allow me to help clients dealing with mental health issues, addiction, grief, complex trauma, divorce, co-parenting, and relationship issues. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy and emotionally focused therapy. I am also a board approved supervisor for therapists seeking licensure.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have a passion for helping people work through life's challenges, assisting them in reaching their full potential, and figuring out what it is that they most want from life. I believe that being heard, understood, and accepted exactly as you are is where healing begins.
I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by the weight of responsibility and emotions they’ve been holding alone, some for a long time. They are struggling with anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, relationship stress, or trauma that keep showing up in current life in ways they don’t fully understand. They want to feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves — not constantly reacting from fear, guilt, or survival mode. Their goal isn’t just to “cope,” but to actually heal and create a life that feels peaceful, balanced, and aligned with who they are. They want clarity — to understand what’s happening inside them and why.
Hi, I’m Ashley Lambert, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Management. With over 14 years in inpatient care and 10 years working with state agencies, including the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and the Office of Juvenile Affairs, I bring deep, hands-on experience in supporting individuals and families through life’s toughest challenges.
I specialize in mental health assessments and have served as a clinical director and a therapeutic options trainer, with a strong background in wraparound services, coaching, and training. As someone who grew up in the foster care system, I offer a deeply non-judgmental, flexible, and compassionate approach, always mindful of each person’s unique journey.
I'm also a proud mother of a teenager, and I believe counseling is not just my career... it’s my purpose. I’m here to provide a safe, encouraging space for healing, growth, and hope.
Happy to meet you!

Do you feel alone or misunderstood, or are you looking for an unbiased person to listen? You’re not alone. My name is Karie Talkington. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, and I have been working with children, teens, and adults for the past 24 years in various capacities. I help clients and families navigate anxiety, depression, grief, and life changes with compassion. I specialize in autism, ADHD, and trauma. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, relaxed space where you are in control. My approach is laid back and client-led, allowing you to dictate the direction of your therapy based on what feels most important to you. I don’t come in with a rigid agenda or a one-size-fits-all plan. Instead, I’m here to listen, support, and gently guide you as you work toward the areas of growth and healing you want to focus on. Together, we’ll move at your pace, building insight, skills, and confidence in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
