Hi! I’m a licensed clinical social worker with experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, and the lasting impact of trauma. I work with clients facing life transitions and relational challenges, helping them make sense of how past experiences and protective patterns may be showing up in the present. Therapy with me is a collaborative process, where we gently build emotional awareness and practical skills to support you in the here and now.
As a dynamic licensed psychotherapist in the States of New York and Connecticut. I bring two decades of compassionate, culturally responsive mental health support to my practice. My approach centers on understanding the unique experiences of individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes, with specialized expertise in life’s challenges, relationship dynamics, and life transitions.
I am deeply committed to creating a supportive, affirming space that honors diverse identities. I focus on empowering clients through self-worth/esteem challenges, communication barriers, emotional regulation, and personal growth. From a holistic perspective, I help my clients explore strengths, build coping skills, and cultivate self-compassion.
My bilingual practice (English and Spanish) allows me to connect with a wide range of clients, providing culturally sensitive and evidenced-based guidance through personal transformations, relationship complexities, and emotional healing. I approach each therapeutic journey with genuine empathy, respect, and a collaborative spirit. I view life as an ongoing journey of learning and transformation, and I strive to help clients move beyond inner criticism and fear of loss toward living a rich, balanced, and meaningful life.
I work best with clients who are ready to engage in meaningful self-reflection and personal growth. My approach is a good fit for individuals who are curious about their inner world and open to exploring the patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape their lives. Therapy is most effective when there is a willingness to be curious, invested, and open. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate space where that process can unfold.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I received my master’s degree in social work from Columbia University, and my practice is guided by the belief that life experience—our struggles, transitions, and personal growth—plays a vital role in helping clients navigate their own challenges. I bring both clinical expertise and grounded, real-world understanding to the therapeutic relationship.
