Hi there! My name is Olisa (Lisa) Brown. I am a fully Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in helping clients to process and express their emotions so they can move through the world with greater confidence and self-trust. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. Through our work together, clients gain clarity around their emotional experiences, build healthier internal narratives, and develop practical tools to support themselves in difficult moments.

I am an LCSW with 25 years of experience in the mental health field. My clients would say I have good energy, a positive outlook, a good sense of humor, and am accepting of people from all backgrounds and experiences. I love meeting new people and helping to make a difference in the lives of those I am privileged to work with.
As a graduate of Missouri State University’s Counseling program, I am a person-centered counselor. I believe that all those who seek therapy have a desire to bring themselves back into balance. Although I see individuals of all ages, I specialize in children between the ages of 3 and 10 addressing their needs using child-centered play therapy.
