Mental health struggles impact everyone. It is up to us to take action to seek out those professionally trained to help us navigate our challenges. This assists us in achieving our goals of better coping, higher functioning, and creating stronger connections that result in happier, more resilient and better versions of ourselves. I have experience working with clients from every socioeconomic background and most diagnoses including those who struggle with the lasting effects of ongoing or past substance use and trauma. I have a greater understanding of the impacts declining mental health can have on every aspect of our lives.
Are you navigating grief, chronic illness or a rare disease, or a major life transition? Maybe you grew up in a family impacted by addiction, conflict, or instability, and want to explore how those experiences are showing up in your life today. These experiences can shape your boundaries, self-worth, and sense of responsibility for others—often influencing relationships, personal growth, and even physical health. In therapy, we’ll explore how your past and present connect, process what you’ve been carrying, and begin to shift patterns that no longer serve you—so you can move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
I’m a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 19 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My approach is grounded in neuroscience and trauma-informed care, with a strong focus on nervous system regulation. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe, understood, and supported. In our work together, I aim to create a calm, collaborative space where we can better understand patterns, build practical tools, and support lasting growth.
Welcome!
Therapy offers us the opportunity to make sense of our questions, deepen our values, and take authorship of our narratives. As a licensed clinical social worker, I hope to support you in that work.
I serve clients experiencing anxiety, life transitions, grief, and relationship concerns, and I am passionate about working with survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual violence. I carry a Master of Social Work from the University of New England, and I have certifications in Reproductive Health Leadership and Aging. This spring, I am pursuing certification in perinatal mental health.
