I am an LCSW with a mission to untangle trauma and transform lives.
I've observed that many are unaware their struggles stem from unresolved childhood trauma. I focus on addressing core beliefs formed during these transformative years.
As I too struggled with unhealthy patterns of my past. Hitting rock bottom was my turning point. I immersed myself in retreats and inner child work, finding strength in spirituality. Healing myself and paying it forward to help others heal too.
Finding the right therapist is so important! Clients need to feel comfortable in order to talk about difficult things. My style is relaxed and supportive. Clients describe me as down to earth, easy to to talk to and authentic. My specialty is working with people through life transitions.
I am Jesmond Fair, born and raised in rural Alabama and later became an alumnus of The University of Alabama. I completed all my graduate training at UGA and am calling Atlanta home. I am a gay Black Christian cis-gender male. For most moments of the day, I have a random song on repeat in my head. This can be attributed to my background in vocal and instrumental music. I believe in being real. So, clients can expect facial reactions, slang, occasional profanity, laughter, and even tears.
