

Rebecca (Becky) Beckwith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience as a social worker raise in Maine. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in Behavioral Science from the University of Maine at Fort Kent in 2000 and her social work career began from there as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor. In 2007 she earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of New England. Early on in her career she had worked primarily in an outpatient therapy clinical setting providing individual, couple, family and group therapy. She found her calling in her career and worked in oncology outpatient and inpatient medical settings as an oncology social worker and palliative care clinical social worker. Becky has extensive training in cancer, palliative care, and end of life. She has received advanced training from Yale University Cancer Survivorship program and the University of California, San Diego post graduate Palliative Care certification, she is an AOSW (Association of Oncology Social Work) and APOSW (Association of Pediatric Oncology Social Work). She also holds certifications in Brain Injury, DBT, Grief Therapy and is a certified clinical supervisor. Becky has also dedicated time to her private practice for 9 years in addition to her oncology work to support clients who struggle with depression and anxiety, mood disorders, relationship challenges, life challenges and transitions.
Dr. Laklieshia Izzard is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and New Jersey, Georgia Certified School Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, Tri-Care Mental Health Counselor, Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention Instructor, Youth Mental Health First Aid Certified, Executive Public Speaker, and the Author of Faith Inspiration Therapy along with multiple publications. Dr Izzard is the founder and CEO of Shekinah Counseling a virtual private practice with more than 19 years of community mental health counseling experience with diverse populations. Dr. Izzard is the founder and Coordinator of Shekinah Counseling’s Black Male Wellness Symposium for the past 6 years. Dr Izzard obtained her doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University Sarasota, Dr. Izzard is a double HBCU Alumni with a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the largest HBCU in the nation North Carolina A&T State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University another great HBCU!
