Hi there, I'm Gianna! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing compassionate and caring therapy. At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing is possible when people feel safe and empowered. I have several years of experience supporting a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, relationship stress, and grief. I also help to explore issues around life’s meaning and purpose.
Additionally, I work with clients navigating stressful life transitions, such as divorce, new parenthood, the death of a loved one, job loss, or an unexpected traumatic event. I take a special interest in those dealing with changes connected to aging, as I have over a decade of experience in the health care field as a hospice worker.
My goal is to facilitate healing, growth and change within a safe, trusting relationship. I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with transitions, grief, anxiety and low level depression. I have worked with children, families and adults for over 21 years in agency settings and in my private practice. My MSW degree was completed in 2002 at Fordham University in NY.
I am the Founder of EQ Therapy (eqtherapy.co), a private practice designed for high-performing clients. I also teach at NYU in their graduate mental health counseling program. My dissertation at Johns Hopkins focused on the mental health experience of intercollegiate student-athletes. I supervise therapists at EQ Therapy who are accepting new clients for individual and couples therapy. If you're a couple, college student, industry leader, entrepreneur, or athlete, schedule a session with with me today!
Hello, my name is Neha, and I’m glad you’re here. Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to offer a space that feels supportive, thoughtful, and grounded. My work is informed by ongoing learning and experience across hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation programs, and private practice. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions using an integrative, evidence-based approach.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe taking care of your mental health is one of the most important investments you can make in your life. Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, so if you’re here, you’ve already taken a meaningful first step. I’ve worked in the mental health field for over a decade and specialize in supporting adults who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.
I hold the philosophy that everyone has the tools within themselves to reach their goals, especially when given the right opportunity and support. Therapy can be an opportunity to find balance by getting in touch with who you are and providing direction for where you want to go. I recognize that opening up to someone can be challenging, which is why I focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship and providing a safe environment to explore and process life's experiences and emotions. I use a warm and friendly approach to help clients to identify their strengths while empowering them as they work toward their goals.
I work with adults navigating grief, loss, anxiety, and significant life transitions. In addition to my clinical work, I’ve taught and trained graduate counseling students, which keeps my approach thoughtful, grounded, and informed by best practices. Clients often describe me as warm, steady, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported as you work through what matters most to you.
Hello! I have 10 years of experience working in the mental health field with adults of all ages. I currently provide individual and group substance use therapy full time and I am beginning part time private work. I am about the 8 dimensions of wellness and seek to partner with those who feel burned out, depleted, and discouraged.
Hi, I’m Sara. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Connecticut, and I work with teens, young adults, and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, life changes, and relationship challenges.
I believe every human is on their own journey of growth, self-discovery, and healing. My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity. Together we’ll create a space where you feel understood, supported, and able to explore your story while building the tools you need to move forward.
My approach is collaborative and flexible. I often use CBT, DBT, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy, and I tailor sessions to fit your individual needs. Clients describe me as warm, approachable, and down to earth. I try to balance understanding with practical strategies that you can use in your daily life, whether that means finding ways to manage stress, communicate better, or feel more grounded.
Outside of therapy, I find balance and renewal in nature and the outdoors. That connection to growth and change in the natural world often inspires how I view the healing process in therapy.
If you’re ready to start or continue your journey, I’d be honored to support you in creating lasting growth and connection.
I am a U.S. Navy veteran that came to therapy late in life after a successful career in Tech. I am very analytical but also empathic, compassionate and humorous.
