Hey there! I am a psychotherapist with a background in psychology and clinical social work. My experience stems from working with a wide variety of clients in many different treatment settings, such as schools, residential treatment facilities, supportive housing, and private practice. I work with adolescents and adults and provide treatment for mood, anxiety, personality, and trauma-related disorders.
Hi, I’m Wendy Agyapong, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in nursing and a passion for helping adults navigate depression, anxiety, and life’s daily stressors. I completed my master’s in nursing and have years of experience supporting individuals on their mental health journeys. My goal is to help you feel balanced, confident, and understood in every step of your care.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly six years of clinical experience working with individuals across a wide age range—from children as young as six to adults in their late sixties. I have supported clients navigating a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, postpartum concerns, OCD, trauma, and more complex mood and personality-related disorders.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating relationship challenges, or trying to manage things like ADHD, PMDD, or hormone-related changes, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I know how much life can demand—balancing work, relationships, family, and everything in between can leave very little space to actually slow down and check in with yourself.
I work with adults and couples, and I really value creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and easy to show up in. My style is laid-back and genuine, and I care a lot about building a strong, collaborative connection so therapy feels helpful—not intimidating.
Welcome!
I believe deeply in the value of being seen, heard, and held as our full selves. My work is grounded in compassion, respect, and authenticity. I consider it a privilege to sit with people, to witness them — whether they are processing grief, trauma, identity, or life transitions — and to support them in discovering their inner capacity for healing.
As a mixed-race cis & queer woman of Jewish-Tunisian and French heritage who immigrated to California in 2014, I bring a multicultural perspective that deepens my empathy and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients—adults, teens, and couples from diverse backgrounds, identities, and life situations. I have experience supporting people navigating anxiety, depression (including postpartum depression), grief, trauma (relational or systemic), neurodiversity, parenting or major life transitions, identity exploration, abuse (including domestic or emotional abuse and systemic oppression), and relationship or attachment challenges.
I have years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, children, families, and couples at every stage of life, I offer integrative, compassionate, and evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs. My background includes extensive work in rural communities, supporting diverse populations and training fellow clinicians—experience that enhances my ability to deliver exceptional support.
Clients can expect a welcoming, professional environment dedicated to healing, personal growth, and lasting positive change. My goal is to help you navigate challenges, build resilience, and move forward with confidence and clarity.
My work is grounded in behavioral therapy, and a firm belief that people can change. I prefer a flexible and collaborative approach that evolves as we work together. Though the foundation of my work is behavioral, I develop integrated treatment plans for each new client, drawing on other evidence-based modalities and new research.
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2016. I have been providing therapy since 2011.

I love working with individuals to improve their quality of life.
You may look like you have everything together—but internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, or mentally exhausted. I work with adults, teens, and children navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, and mood concerns. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals seeking more thoughtful, personalized care after feeling rushed or unheard in the past. I offer longer, collaborative visits focused on truly understanding you—not just managing symptoms. Treatment may include medication, along with lifestyle and therapy recommendations. If you’re looking for a more intentional, personalized approach, I’d love to connect.
