Hi, I’m Anika Muhammad, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting adults facing stress, trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, helping them build resilience, develop coping skills, and move toward greater stability and well-being.
My background includes working with veterans and individuals facing complex life circumstances, which has shaped my ability to approach therapy with empathy, flexibility, and a deep respect for each person’s unique experiences. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel understood, empowered, and able to work toward meaningful change.
I have worked with a variety of clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. My primary focus has been on individual therapy but enjoy working with couples and families as well. I bring empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness to all of my therapy sessions.
Hi, I’m Maria — I work with teens, transitional-age youth (16–25), and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, and the impact of trauma, including interpersonal violence and sexual assault. I know reaching out for support takes courage, and I’m glad you’re here.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and someone who has lived and thrived in polyamorous relationships for the past seven years, I provide a compassionate and affirming space for individuals, couples, and polycules exploring or navigating polyamory and ethical non-monogamy. My personal experience, combined with professional expertise, allows me to deeply understand the unique joys and challenges that come with consensual non-monogamous relationships.
I believe therapy works best when it’s grounded in understanding who you are as a whole person. Everyone comes to therapy with their own story, background, and way of communicating, and I take time to really get to know each client as an individual. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself, sharing openly, and feeling genuinely heard and supported as we work through what brought you to therapy.
I hold a Doctorate in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I’ve been working as a therapist since 2015 and independently licensed since 2018. I primarily work with adults (18+) and support individuals navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, brief grief experiences, life transitions, and women’s issues.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in stress and anxiety disorders, mood concerns, and LGBT-issues.
