Rosonna Comers LCSW, CSAC
Rosonna is a former military service member and served on active duty in the US Navy from 1989 to 1994. She has travelled the US and abroad serving in the the Philippine Islands, Desert Storm, United Arab Emirates, Japan, New Zealand, and Antarctica.
Rosonna has always been motivated by her commitment to service, Rosonna pursued her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and graduated from UW Milwaukee in May 2000. She is also dually credentialed as a CSAC, (November, 1999). Rosonna has worked in diverse clinical settings over the past 30 years. She is committed to higher education and training.
Rosonna is committed to trauma-informed care, with EMDR as her specialty. She will soon offer Brainspotting, another trauma informed psychotherapy. In addition, Rosonna has completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in the Gottman Method, which helps couples rebuild and strengthen their relationships. She also incorporates concepts and skills using mindfulness-based practices, CBT, ACT, MRT, and MI.
Beyond her professional commitments, Rosonna finds joy away from work through gardening, diverse types of recreational activities and travel. She is family oriented and an avid pet lover. Rosonna believes in maintaining a healthy work life balance. She especially enjoys a good cup of coffee.
