Great to meet you!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Asking for help can be one of the toughest challenges, so congratulations on taking that first step! I’ve been practicing for 10 years, and my main focus are adult clients who are struggling with PTSD, anxiety and depression.
My professional background involves many years working in the medical field; in hospital and clinical settings. I have experience working with neurodivergences; both professionally and personally. I also have a wide range of experience and education working with grief/loss/hospice, struggles with depression/anxiety/relationship issues/self-worth and in setting healthy boundaries.
Let's work together and help you find your direction. My counseling style is highly consultative and coaching-like. It is typically non-directive, as I believe each client pilot's their own ship, but when the situation warrants, there is plenty of idea sharing and strategizing as well.
I have been practicing for 21 years and work with clients of all ages and various backgrounds. I believe that with a strong therapeutic alliance, we can mutually come together and help you find a path forward that suits you.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience treating individual clients and their families who are suffering from a range of mental health issues. I have extensive experience working with traumatic experience, depression, anxiety and episodic and chronic mental health issues. I work with clients dealing with divorce, parenting issues, betrayal, grief, life stress, burnout and life transitions that can cause disruption in functioning or well being.
I help adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that are no longer working. Many of my clients are dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship stress, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others. My approach is direct, collaborative, and focused on helping you build insight, practical tools, and lasting change.
Mental health counseling is a form of help that can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of many individuals. Some mental health professionals, including me, intentionally incorporate spiritual or religious elements into their therapeutic practices. I do so because I primarily serve a Christian community, because my clients also adhere to religious principles in their own lives, and I subscribe to the belief that people experiencing distress can especially benefit from the help of God and spiritual empowerment.
If you are looking for someone to help you sort through an issue or situation, I have been accompanying people on their personal journeys for 15 years. I believe deeply that part of how we navigate life is by being seen and heard well. Whether you are going through a transition personally or professionally, wanting some insight into a situation or feeling, and/or facing an obstacle to growth, we can work together to bring some sense of resolution to your immediate issue. As Therapist (I am also a Certified Life Coach), I work in Shorter Term Solution Focused ways to accompany you in the next step of being your best Self. I have MA in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and a BA in Psychology from Wheaton College. I am also a Certified Life Coach.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience empowering individuals to align with their values, uncover their best selves, and embark on the path to their most fulfilling lives. Known for my upbeat energy and compassionate approach, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and transformative space where clients can overcome challenges and achieve meaningful growth. Whether through evidence-based interventions or personalized strategies, I thrive in helping individuals unlock their potential and build lives grounded in purpose and well-being.
