I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from The University of Pennsylvania. I am informed in EMDR, IFS, Attachment theory, Jungian shadow work, CBT, ACT, Somatic Havening, Complex Trauma, and Oxytocin and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. Prior to counseling in the private practice realm, I interned at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in D.C. where I group counseled and provided addiction education to patients on every unit who fell under the anti-social spectrum and other personality disorders. I received a BA in English Language & Literature from Smith College and studied at Vassar College for my junior year away. I taught English, Creative Writing and Visual Art at numerous private schools throughout the East Coast. I received my MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in Education from American University in D.C.
