Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, ADHD, depression, or family challenges start to take over. You may find yourself stuck in unhelpful patterns or unsure how to move forward. Therapy offers a space to slow down, sort through what’s happening, and discover practical tools for lasting change. Together, we’ll focus on building emotional resilience, improving relationships, and helping you feel more confident and in control of your life.
Hi! I am the founder of Liminality, a practice in NY and VA, specializing in narcissistic abuse recovery, breakup grief, and unresolved trauma, helping clients heal from limerence, love addiction, and deep attachment wounds. We believe meaningful growth begins with a clear vision for change—the desire to experience healthy love, lasting emotional stability, and a deeper connection to self. Whether you're recovering from emotional abuse, navigating heartbreak, or trying to break long-standing relational patterns, our work focuses on transforming how you relate to yourself and others. I work primarily with individuals and couples who need assistance in learning what to do when difficult emotions appear. I work with couples navigating the same arguments over and over or individuals wondering, "Why does this feel so hard?" Areas of specialty include:
Finding the right therapist, and starting therapy, can be both exciting and perhaps overwhelming. But your story matters--it is unique to you.
I can help with solving current struggles, as well as past wounds which may contribute to distress. I help those who want deeper insight into those areas they feel stuck; negative patterns of relating; or feeling blocked from living their best life.
I am deeply committed to helping individuals discover meaning and purpose in their lives. With more than four decades of experience as a counselor, I specialize in guiding clients through recovery from addictions, anxiety disorders, and PTSD.
As an Associate Professor in the Online Department of Community Care and Counseling within the School of Behavioral Sciences at Liberty University, I facilitate courses designed to help students and clients rediscover their zest for life and cultivate lasting emotional well-being.
In my private practice, I work extensively with couples, equipping them with practical tools and proven techniques to restore joy, strengthen relational intimacy, and build fulfilling, resilient relationships.
I live in Lynchburg, Virginia, where I remain actively engaged in my community. My areas of specialization include trauma and complex trauma, anxiety, depression, child abuse recovery, and relational intimacy. Welcome to my practice. I’m a Master of Social Work clinician with a degree from Walla Walla University (2016), and I’ve been providing mental health counseling ever since. My work has primarily focused on supporting adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress related to major life changes. I entered this field to meet people where they are emotionally and to support them in reaching their personal goals.
I am an LPC in Virginia and LMHC-S in Florida my background in practice consists of treating adolescents, families, children in at risk populations and treating adults with depression and anxiety. I take a holistic approach to counseling and meet the client where they are at. I include CBT and solution-focused techniques in order to assist clients dealing with a variety of issues. I also have a background in TF-CBT informed therapy and utilize this as needed.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience supporting individuals as they navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish, and I strive to offer care that is culturally responsive, inclusive, and affirming.
I earned my graduate degree in social work and have extensive experience working with marginalized and underserved communities, as well as with survivors of sexual violence. My clinical work includes supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem concerns, and interpersonal difficulties. I approach therapy through an evidence-based, trauma-informed lens that honors each client’s lived experience.
I help people heal from trauma, with a special focus on sexual trauma, and I’ve been honored to support a wide range of individuals — including women, men, military veterans, and LGBTQIA clients — as they work through their experiences and take meaningful steps toward healing. I also enjoy helping people work through challenging life transitions (e.g., parenthood, divorce, etc.) and identity-specific concerns (e.g., men's issues, women's issues, gender identity exploration). In addition to individual therapy, I also provide relationship therapy for monogamous, non-monogamous, and open relationships as well as psychological assessment (e.g., ADHD, dementia, learning disorder, mental health) for adults.
