I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional wellness through personalized care. I do provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management tailored to each patient's needs. My clinical focus includes anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, panic attacks, stress, trauma, PTSD, insomnia, emotional regulation, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. I apply a collaborative and culturally sensitive approach, while ensuring patients feel comfortable and actively involved in their treatment. I see patients throughout Texas, Arizona; and New Mexico via telehealth, telepsychiatry, and online psychiatrist services.
I graduated from Texas Woman's University with a BSN; University of Calgary, Canada, MSN, Grand Canyon University AGACNP; and Walden University, PMHNP. Altogether, I have been in the healthcare profession for 18 years. I have worked in hospitals, long-term care, nursing homes, and home health services. All these experiences inform my care delivery to patients in any setting. I have cared for pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric populations. Also, I have experience as a hospitalist and in internal medicine with oncology patients.
I am a licensed counselor with 5 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, child abuse and other trauma.
