

I am graduate of Texas A & M and Sam Houston State University. I have been a school counselor for 30 years and an LPC (licensed professional counselor) for 7 years. We!come!
I have a Master of Science degree from Abilene Christian University and a bachelor's degree from McMurry University (Ala Cumba and go WarHawks!). I have lived in Abilene since 2005 and have been a therapist in Texas for over 15 years. I am married, and am a mom of 3 boys and 2 fur babies. I have training in a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and others.
I am passionate about helping individuals realize that they have the ability to choose growth and freedom. I enjoy helping individuals find their identity, self confidence and the greatness within themselves that will allow them to achieve the growth that they want. I have experiencing helping individuals with depression, anxiety, life transitions, spiritual issues, grief and trauma work. I work primarily with adults.
With the right help, I firmly believe anyone who is willing to put in some hard work can increase their self-knowledge, grow in the understanding of other perspectives, heal wounds, and cultivate meaningful relationships.
