I believe that therapy should be tailored to each client individually as it is not a “one size fits all" solution. Whether or not you have a “diagnosis” therapy is incredibly important and is a space where you get to talk about your everyday stressors or your major traumas. It’s up to you. I am dual licensed in Texas and New York.
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist. I have interacted, studied, taught, worked with, and treated people from various ethnic or cultural heritages, upbringings, religions, and sexual orientations. I am willing to walk alongside you, support you, and facilitate you in your journey of healing, hope, growth, acceptance, and change.
It can feel daunting to begin therapy. You may know you are struggling with your relationships, work, or personal fulfillment yet it can feel difficult to seek help. In my practice, I will work with you in a safe space to explore and address the difficulties the prevent you from living a fulfilling life. I utilize eclectic approaches including psychodynamic, relational, existential, and attachment-based theories.
I integrate specialized approaches in my work with folks who identify as Muslim, Middle Eastern, North African, and South Asian. I provide a non-judgmental and safe space for LGBTQ, kink, and poly persons of color in my practice. I have personal and professional experience with acculturation and specialize in providing cross-cultural therapy for biracial/bi-cultural issues.
I work with adults struggling with anxiety, sexual disorders, chronic medical conditions, bereavement, trauma, and relationships.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with clinical experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of mental health concerns, including trauma-related symptoms, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties. I have worked with diverse populations and across varying levels of clinical acuity.
My clinical approach is trauma-informed and evidence-based, integrating cognitive-behavioral and skills-focused interventions to support emotional regulation, symptom management, and insight development. I prioritize establishing a therapeutic environment that is collaborative, structured, and emotionally safe, allowing clients to engage in treatment at an appropriate and clinically indicated pace.
I am committed to providing ethical, client-centered care and supporting individuals across the lifespan in improving psychological functioning, resilience, and overall well-being.
If you’re feeling constantly overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or like your mind just won’t slow down—you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with are used to holding it all together on the outside, but inside feel anxious, drained, or stretched thin.
I’m a therapist who focuses on helping individuals manage anxiety, stress, and the pressure that comes with everyday life. I’ve worked in hospital, outpatient, and community settings, supporting adults and young adults through everything from major life transitions to ongoing feelings of worry, burnout, and emotional overload.
Recognizing the need for growth and change can feel intimidating, but taking that first step toward therapy shows courage and a willingness to invest in yourself. I create a warm, supportive space where clients can safely explore past and present experiences. Together, we work to understand patterns, emotions, and challenges that may be holding you back. I view therapy as a collaborative journey where we move at your pace while building insight, self-acceptance, and meaningful change. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker based in Texas who cares deeply about the healing work of therapy. Life’s hardships and past hurts can take a real toll, and I’m here to support you as you begin moving toward healing and wholeness.
I’m glad you’re here. I have extensive experience supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, human trafficking, and other forms of complex trauma. I’m certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which are evidence-based approaches designed to treat trauma, PTSD, and related symptoms. Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, emotional overwhelm, dissociation, grief, and burnout related to past or ongoing experiences.
As a foster and adoptive parent, I also support foster and adoptive families through a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) lens. I understand how trauma can impact attachment, behavior, and relationships for both children and caregivers. In addition, I work with individuals experiencing prenatal and postpartum mental health concerns, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, identity shifts, and the emotional challenges that can come with parenthood.
I also support clients struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and emotional relationships with food. Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, eating concerns, or life transitions, my goal is to create a safe, affirming, and compassionate space where you can process difficult experiences and begin meaningful healing.
I have over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and women. I am committed to helping others walk through their life journey. Allow me to take this journey with you.
