Do you worry your child or teen is struggling with anxiety, trauma, or behavior challenges at home or at school? Are you unsure how to support them, help them cope, or guide them through stress? Today’s children and teens face academic pressures, social challenges, and family expectations that can feel overwhelming. Parents often feel unsure if they’re doing enough or how to best support their child. At SAPANS, our mission is clear: “Let us help you understand your child.”
I place equal importance on evidence-based practices and having an excellent therapeutic relationship with my clients. My genuine, caring approach aids in the efficacy of the science-backed treatments used in trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, and borderline personality disorder. I also treat male and female victims of sexual assault.
After listening to you and hearing your story, we design a treatment plan together. I have various approaches and will share with you which treatments will best help you meet your treatment goals, and we’ll determine a direction together. For some clients, an approach with homework keeps them engaged. Others prefer eye movement therapy because trauma is processed quickly, and you don't have to find the right words. Still, others want an inviting and comfortable place to process their feelings in a nonjudgmental environment.
I believe that my clients have wisdom within themselves. Effective therapy avoids advice-giving; it walks beside the client on their journey, allowing them to come to their truth and not the therapist’s truth.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), an evidenced-based therapy used in treating PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other distressing life events. Finding a therapist is an extremely personal experience. I work to ensure you are comfortable with our therapeutic relationship, and if not, I offer referrals to other therapists who may be a better fit.
I seek to help individuals heal on the threefold path: mind, body, and spirit. I work with clients with a variety of issues: addictions, anxiety disorders, trauma/PTSD, sexuality issues, mental wellness for management of depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and adjustment to major life transitions and decisions. I am of service to the LGBTQIAA+ community,

Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with individuals in the heart of Texas. I’m certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and my career began supporting kids who had been through traumatic experiences. Since then, I’ve worked with people of all ages, walking alongside them as they face trauma, mental health struggles, and the ups and downs that come with being human.
I specialize in helping people work through depression, anxiety, and trauma. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly heard and supported, and where we can work together at your pace. I combine compassion with practical tools, always adapting my approach to fit your unique needs and goals.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband, our toddler, and our pets. Singing with my son or getting lost in a good book brings me a lot of joy. I believe healing isn’t just about therapy—it’s also about finding connection, rest, and the little moments that make life meaningful.
🕊️ Welcome!
