Therapeutic fit is an absolute must if you are looking to make progress and be vulnerable with someone. My goal is to meet you where you are and to help you feel safe during our time together. In an effort to connect with you and to create an authentic environment, I use a collaborative, humorous, and down-to-earth approach.
Hello,
I am Kirbie Anderson and I am here to assist you. I received my MSSW from the University of Tennessee of Knoxville. I have an extensive background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy . I specialize in individual psychotherapy, as well as domestic violence, self-esteem and grief. I counsel adults and college students.
Patricia Maynard has 20+ years of providing client care and specializes in delivering compassionate and authentic therapy services within a nurturing, safe, and collaborative environment. Her expertise extends to addressing challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Engaging in a counseling relationship provides dedicated time to focus on the individual – their relationships, family, and personal growth.
I bring over 13 years of experience since graduating from Boston University, and throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to work with both children and adults. Today, my focus is primarily on supporting adults navigating life’s stressors and transitions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I understand how culture and language shape our identities and the way we experience the world. Together, we’ll work to identify what truly helps you feel better and move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
We are in this together. I am a licensed professional counselor, practicing for nearly 10 years.
My Philosophy On Healing
” I will not rescue you.
For you are not powerless.
I will not fix you.
For you are not broken.
I will not heal you.
For I see you, in your wholeness.
I will walk with you through the darkness as you remember your light.”
-Sheree Bliss Tilsley.
