Hi there! My name is Kayleigh, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida and Tennesee. I also have my PhD in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I have worked in private practice, in school settings, and at a non-profit facility. I have primarily provided therapy to adolescents and their families, but I also work with younger children and older adults providing individual, family, and couple therapy. I specialize in working with anxiety, identity issues, and stress management.
I bring a comprehensive background in healthcare and social services, with experience spanning a wide range of specialties and care settings. My work has included oncology, dementia care and caregiver support, geriatric evaluation, and primary care coordination. I have also provided services in adult day programs, nursing homes, home health, emergency rooms, and programs supporting individuals experiencing homelessness or serious mental illness.
In addition, I have supported clients dealing with depression, anxiety, sleep issues, substance use, and grief, always with a focus on person-centered, compassionate care. My experience extends to the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), where I’ve helped older adults maintain their independence and quality of life. I also have strong supervisory experience and a commitment to promoting collaborative, holistic approaches to well-being.
My first goal in therapy is to build a secure and trusting relationship with you, creating a safe environment where you feel seen and heard. I use framework that supports individuals in all stages of life facing issues with relationship distress, grief and loss, depression or moodiness, trauma, anxiety, anger issues, self-defeating behaviors, or other life stressors.
