Hi My name is Hilary Chentow. I am a licensed clinical social worker living in PA and practicing in PA, WA and DE. I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, Polyvagal theory and Internal Family Systems and will share resources in abundance. I was a teacher before I made a midlife career change to become a therapist. I am not a one size fits all therapist. And I am ok with that. Right fit is important.
I am a Pennsylvania-licensed psychologist with 23 years of counseling experience with adults of all ages, from late-adolescence and across the lifespan.
My practice focuses on helping individuals develop personally meaningful ways of navigating anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, time-of-life transitions, and identity development. These therapeutic partnerships often involve identity-affirming explorations of racial, ethnic, LGBTQIA, and neuro-diversity matters within clients’ lives.
Helping clients feels safe, regarded, and at ease... I work hard to understand what each individual needs from me to feel these things at the forefront of our relationship.
I feel really confident in my empathic attunement toward clients as I authentically connect with each individual. I prioritize creating a shared space of sincerity as clients begin telling me their stories.
And what an honor it is, helping clients share their narratives in a manner that highlights their courage and resilience, as well as their yearning and needs.
As we begin to explore and understand all of these things, we hone in on each client’s inner resources and external supports — identifying these things and figuring out how each individual client can feel most empowered in themselves.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and the owner of Transformative Journey Counseling, LLC. I hold a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Saint Joseph’s University. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University.
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, and adjustment-related challenges. My work focuses on empowering clients to gain insight, build resilience, and find healthy ways to cope and grow through life’s transitions.
Hello! My name is Dana and my experience includes working with adults with a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety disorders, life transitions, communication, and low self-esteem. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus in direct practice. Additionally, I am a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW) and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), which provides advanced training to help clients suffering from a variety of anxiety disorders.
My background has been shaped by walking alongside people through some of life’s most difficult and vulnerable experiences. I began working in hospice care, where I learned the importance of presence, compassion, and creating space for grief and meaning at the end of life. From there, I moved into intensive case management and addiction counseling in a methadone clinic, supporting individuals navigating substance use, trauma, and significant life challenges. Over time, my work has focused more deeply on individuals living with complex trauma, dissociation, personality disorders, severe mental illness, and experiences of domestic violence. These experiences have taught me how important it is to move gently, build trust at a pace that feels safe, and truly meet people where they are. I bring a steady, nonjudgmental presence into the therapy room, with the understanding that healing often begins in feeling seen, understood, and not alone.
I believe that humans should ideally be unfolding and growing throughout their lifetime. This means embracing change, especially when life gets difficult and we feel stuck, dissatisfied, or overwhelmed. Change is a journey with ups and downs. Personally, I believe we all struggle with challenges at different times in our life and it's the courageous who seek help.
Hey there! I’m a licensed clinical social worker with experience providing both group and individual therapy. My background includes work in addiction, mental health, and crisis intervention. I’ve had the privilege of supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and build healthier connections.
Hi! My name is John. I am a warm, welcoming therapist who believes that healing happens best in a space where you can feel comfortable being fully yourself-humor included. I earned my Master's degree in 2016 and bring over ten years of experience working in the Mental Health/Counseling field. I am trained in trauma-informed care and prioritize safety, trust, and empowerment in our work together, moving at a pace that feels right for you.
Welcome! My name is Victoria, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors navigating life transitions, stress, grief, and anxiety. (give me a chance, seniors. I'm older than I look and someone once called me wise!) I also specialize in trauma and understand how painful experiences can affect us emotionally, behaviorally, and relationally over time. Through graduate training and ongoing continuing education, I help clients process the past, better understand their patterns, and move toward healing and change.
