Welcome—I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Andrea Turner, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor designation (LPCC-S) with over 10+ years of combined experience supporting individuals through life’s most difficult and transformative moments. I founded Intentional Footsteps LLC with one purpose in mind: to create a safe, empowering space where healing begins and growth is intentional.
I believe therapy is a space to find inner peace through courage, curiosity, and compassion. The journey toward peace begins with the willingness to be vulnerable—an act that can feel both brave and frightening. Opening up to another person and turning inward to meet ourselves can stir fear and uncertainty, but it becomes gentler in a space free of judgment and shame. My goal is to create that space, where you can explore at your own pace and begin to reconnect with the parts of yourself that need care and understanding.
With 12+ years of experience supporting those impacted by trauma and other challenges , I use a body-centered, relational approach. I help clients slow down, tune into their bodies, and notice how the past shapes their present. Through curiosity, mindfulness, and compassion, I guide healing and deeper connection with self and others.
I am Earlene Johnson, a licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Ohio with a strong passion for Human Services and helping individuals create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
Taylor Clay, M.A., LPCC is a licensed professional clinical counselor. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Andrews University and completed her master's degree in mental health counseling from Walsh University. Taylor has been working in various settings in Stark County since 2015. Taylor has experience within hospital emergency rooms, school-based, community crisis, outpatient, and telehealth. Taylor has worked with a wide range of clients ages 5-75. Taylor’s early years in the field were focused on child and adolescents, primarily those in foster care. For the past several years, Taylor has moved to a focus of young adults, adults, and geriatric populations. Taylor is a proud ally to the LGTBQIA+ community.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, best friend, dogs, and family. Taylor is very passionate about helping animals in the community and often finds herself looking for lost dogs on the weekends. She also enjoys being outside, especially in warm weather.
I am direct. I challenge my client's beliefs and perspectives to help clients better define them.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida and Ohio with 14 years of direct counseling experience. Supporting and guiding clients through difficult traumas and life's challenges in a safe and nonjudgmental environment is what I strive for.
My goal is to assist children, adolescents, and adults to reach their highest potential and to help couples and families live more harmonious and joyful lives together.
My passion is to support, uplift and encourage those in my community. Let's work together to start living a better-quality life one session at a time.
I consider it a privilege to help support and collaborate with my clients on achieving the goals they set for themselves in therapy. I primarily work with clients who have experienced or are experiencing trauma and PTSD, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, ADHD, OCD, life transitions, family conflict, and those experiencing stress or difficulties with emotion management. I earned my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Addictions Counseling from Kent State University, and have worked in the mental health field for 10 years.
With a strong foundation in both social work and law enforcement, I bring a compassionate, grounded, and practical perspective to therapy. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work and spent eight years in law enforcement, primarily working patrol. This experience gave me the opportunity to support individuals and families during some of the most challenging and vulnerable moments of their lives.
Through my professional work—and my own lived experiences with critical and traumatic incidents—I developed a deep commitment to helping others heal from trauma. I specialize in trauma-focused therapy and work with individuals navigating life’s challenges, processing difficult past experiences, and building resilience for the future.
My approach blends clinical expertise with real-world understanding to create a space that is supportive, nonjudgmental, and genuine. I strive to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. Whether you are working through trauma, adjusting to life transitions, or seeking healthier coping strategies, I aim to help you gain clarity, strengthen your inner resources, and move forward with confidence. I’m here to support you every step of the way on your path toward healing and personal growth.
I offer online therapy across Ohio for young adults and high-functioning women navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, and life transitions. My clients are the ones holding everything together but running on empty—feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their heads, and doubting themselves as they try to keep up with school, work, relationships, and daily responsibilities. If you feel scattered, constant worry, or struggle with focus and motivation, we’ll work together to slow things down and develop strategies that fit your life. I’m here to help you feel grounded, in control, and make sense of who you are and what you need right now.
