I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who loves working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I work with teens and adults on issues such as identity; anxiety and stress management; depression; coping skills; emotion regulation; self-esteem; and improving relationships. I work with couples on managing conflicts, building friendship & intimacy, and creating shared meaning. I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and I use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work.
My main personal and professional values are truth and authenticity. I bring my values into my work as a therapist, and I assist you with identifying and living a life that is congruent with your values. Therapy modalities I use in my work include: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
The client-therapist relationship is the greatest and BEST therapeutic intervention. The rapport we build in our therapy sessions will be essential and necessary for your positive change. I can't promise therapy will be easy. In fact, therapy is a lot of hard work. What I will tell you is to trust the process and remain committed to your healing, growth, and positive change.

I’m Hannah Dobson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, parenting, and challenging relationship and family dynamics. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work and bring a compassionate, holistic, and client-centered approach to therapy. I specialize in treating OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and support clients impacted by emotionally immature parents, life transitions, and chronic stress. My work is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I received my Master of Social Work from East Carolina University and have been practicing as a therapist for 11 years. I believe the foundation of effective therapy lies in a strong therapeutic relationship- one built on trust, openness, and authenticity.
