Dr. Padilla takes a “start low and go slow” approach to prescribing, paying special attention to medication potency and potential interactions with other medications prescribed by other providers. Dr. Padilla earned his Doctorate in Clinical Practice Nursing from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. He also holds bachelor’s degrees from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and the University of Miami, as well as an associate’s degree from Bergen Community College.

Kadian is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor, ACS. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Kean University. She earned her Masters of Arts degree in Community and Agency Counseling at Kean University. Kadian has over 22 years’ experience working with adults and adolescents in various settings, including crisis intervention services, in-home therapy, intensive outpatient and traditional outpatient.
I specialize in adolescents, young adults, and adults. I help develop coping strategies using DBT and CBT skills that produce successful outcomes. As a teacher in the public school systems for over 25 years, I have worked with learning difficulties and social emotional issues caused by all the environmental stressors our generation has to manage.
