I have spent most of my professional career working with women, LGBTQ+ folx, and sex workers who have experienced various forms of abuse throughout their lives. I help people navigate difficult patterns in relationships, coping skills, wellness goals, boundary setting, and exploring what you want to be different in your life.
I have experience in counseling with children, adolescents and adults/couples and families. I was a foster parent for 15 plus year. I understand those challenges on a daily basis within families, raising children and relationships. I have raised many children and worked with many children with different challenges. I Have been in my relationship for over 50 years and not without challenges as well.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Temple University and my Master of Social Work from Indiana University. With over 10 years of experience, I support individuals in managing anxiety, navigating depression, and healing from past trauma.
My approach blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness with a spiritually grounded perspective. While therapy is rooted in clinical skill, I also create space for deeper connection—often integrating spiritual awareness into the work for those who are open to it. I believe healing is not just mental, but also deeply internal and, at times, spiritual.
