About Me
I was born in Memphis, TN and have since lived in Kentucky, Florida, and Indiana before returning to Tennessee. My husband and I have been married for nearly 38 years. While we were not able to have children, we have nurtured a bunch of four-leggers and have managed to have some amazing young people in our lives. If I’m not doing therapy, I generally have one hand on an animal while the other is holding a book.
I am a licensed mental health therapist with over 10 years experience. I am honored to be able to walk with and support people through difficult times of their lives. Seeking support takes courage. Whether you are coming to therapy with a specific goal or simply need a place to talk and sort things out, I am committed to offering steady support, compassion, and clarity along the way.
As a trauma therapist who specializes in working with adults recovering from eating disorders and disordered eating, I am here to support you in moving towards a nourishing relationship with food and body. I have extensive experience working with survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence as well as those navigating their relationship to a current or former faith.
