I prioritize creating a comfortable, safe, and accepting environment from the very first session. I approach each individual without judgment and with genuine care for their personal story. Hi! I'm Faith McFarland and I specialize in working with kids, teens, and adults dealing with all kinds of struggles. Whether it's anxiety, depression, trauma, or any kind of big life change, I strive to create an environment my client's feel safe and comfortable to explore their feelings and actions. I graduated from UCF with my Master's in Clinical Psychology and have received extensive training working with kids and teens recovering from abuse and trauma.
I’m a board‐certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence‐based care for adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. I offer services in English and Spanish to support clients who feel most comfortable in either language. My style is warm, respectful, and culturally sensitive.
My clinical background includes extensive experience working with underprivileged populations, victims of crime, and individuals coping with bereavement, grief, and loss. I have served as a school counselor for students from pre‐K through 12th grade, and I have supported college students navigating the challenges of major life transitions.
After completing my Master’s in Counseling from California State University, Sacramento, I co‐facilitated a children’s bereavement group with Hospice and led a suicide‐prevention program throughout inner‐city schools in Sacramento. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how individuals process adversity, build resilience, and find meaning in their healing journeys.
My therapeutic approach is humanistic and person‐centered, with an emphasis on play and art therapy. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution‐Focused techniques, and mindfulness‐based approaches to support clients in developing insight, strengthening coping skills, and fostering emotional well‐being.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals feel more connected to themselves, their emotions, and their relationships. My background includes training in trauma-informed care, attachment-based therapy, and holistic approaches that consider both the mind and body. I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship dynamics, self-esteem, life transitions, and patterns rooted in early experiences.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in authenticity. I aim to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and feel both supported and gently challenged. I often integrate insight-oriented work with practical tools so you can better understand yourself while also making meaningful changes in your day-to-day life.
Clients often describe me as warm, intuitive, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should feel human, not clinical, and I value bringing a sense of honesty, humor, and depth into the work we do together.
I want to help you help yourself. I believe everyone is capable of change and I will teach you skills to use everyday.
