I am a licensed bilingual therapist who supports individuals struggling with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I place a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care and work collaboratively with clients, meeting them where they are in their healing journey. I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, as well as college-aged students navigating early adulthood. I am trained in EMDR, TIR, and ERP, and I tailor these approaches to each client’s unique needs. I have also presented at local, state, and national conferences on mental health and trauma-related topics.
With over 16 years of experience, my work is shaped not only by formal education but also by extensive, hands-on experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges. I value both of these influences; however, I believe the most important expertise in the room is yours. Your strengths, lived experiences, and personal insight are central to the work we do together.
I hold a Doctorate in Counseling Education and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My professional background includes working with diverse populations, with a focus on areas such as trauma, life transitions, and relationships. I have experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and I strive to create a space that is inclusive, respectful, and tailored to your unique needs.
My goal is to meet you where you are while offering guidance, practical tools, and perspective to support your growth.
I often work with clients through:
-Post traumatic stressors disorder (PTSD) or other impacts of trauma
-Depression
-Anxiety-Grief/Loss
-Improving self-esteem
-Processing family dynamics
I utilize mindfulness techniques in my session to help clients slowly be more present in their experience and as part of the coping skills we can learn to manage emotions.
I’m a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have a passion for assisting individuals, couples, and families navigate the challenges of life.
I have over 5 years of experience working in settings such as private practice, community mental health, hospitals, and mobile crisis response teams as a social worker, mental health advocate, and registered nurse. I have experience working in the emergency room of a level 1 trauma center, with children and families involved in the dependency system, and victims of crimes. One key area of focus for me is supporting individuals facing concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma recovery.
I have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University, with a focus on child and family development. I also received a Master’s in Nursing Degree from Chamberlain University, where I received extensive training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I continue to stay open-minded and take any education opportunities to stay current with best practices and emerging research in mental health care.
Hi! My name is Kelly Singleman, I am a licensed mental health counselor and licensed professional counselor. I am a caring therapist who works hard in helping others to be the best version of themselves.
I have been a therapist since 2002. I believe in a laid back, and open "fire side" chat format to counseling. I started my career in a Christian Counseling setting with adolescents and families which progressed over to couples and eventually crossing to the LGBTQ and alternative lifestyles such as kink aware. I hold a Masters in Counseling Education from the UCF. I have learned over the years not to take myself too seriously and one should always be open and ready to adjust to change and growth.
A therapist passionate about helping children, teens, and young adults navigate the challenges of growing up in a complex world. My approach is warm, patient, and collaborative, I believe that building genuine trust is the foundation of meaningful change.
In my work with young people, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where they can express themselves freely and feel understood. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, family stress, or identity concerns, I meet each client where they are with empathy and respect. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to help clients understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence in themselves.
When working with children and teens, I also value partnering with parents and caregivers, helping families strengthen communication, connection, and understanding. My goal is to empower each young person to recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and develop the tools they need to thrive—both now and in the future.
Clients often describe me as calm, relatable, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive conversation that sparks growth, resilience, and self-discovery.
If you or your child are struggling to manage big emotions, adjust to life changes, or find a sense of direction, I’m here to help you take the next step toward healing and balance.
