

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2018. I was drawn to therapy through my own mental health journey of recovery from childhood trauma, depression, and anxiety. In training, I've worked in the education system, substance abuse recovery, and family trauma with teen boys. I am a certified NARM (neuroaffective relational model) therapist, specializing in attachment trauma and somatic mindfulness.
My journey of self-discovery has led me here and now. As most people do, we have hopes, dreams, and plans for our lives and aim for fulfillment. We do not always anticipate some of the obstacles that suddenly require a helping hand, a steppingstone, or a bridge. Hi! I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a graduate degree from Wilkes University. I have experience working with adults in multiple settings facing various complex mental health issues, including Bipolar Disorder, trauma, depression, and anxiety.

My background includes supporting people through life transitions, grief, anxiety, and relationship stress. I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, supported, and understood.
Refuge Therapy is, foremost, a safe space where anyone can feel known and understood during a challenging time in their life. Many of my clients come from the following groups: emerging adults, caregivers -- including pastors, nurses, teachers, and couples.
