Great to meet you!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Asking for help can be one of the toughest challenges, so congratulations on taking that first step! I’ve been practicing for 10 years, and my main focus are adult clients who are struggling with PTSD, anxiety and depression.

Originally from New York, I hold a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a BA in Neuroscience. I worked at the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies for thirteen years alongside world-class health and wellness experts, which brings depth to my work as a psychotherapist. I studied Buddhism and have practiced yoga and meditation for over 20 years. Clients describe me calm, warm and resourceful. Client testimonials can be found on my website.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of experience specializing in trauma, stress management, and complex adult issues.
Clients often describe me as direct, warm, and easy to talk to. I value creating a space where you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out, just a place to be honest, curious, and supported as you work toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
I work with many adults who feel emotionally worn down, stuck in old patterns, or disconnected from themselves or others often after growing up in environments where their emotional needs weren’t fully seen or supported.
Many of my clients struggle internally with depression, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or feeling “behind” in life.
Over 20 years ago, God put a desire in my heart to start MANNAFULL Counseling and Consulting. I wanted to see people restored and transformed from the impact of rejection, insecurity, low self-esteem, hurt, fear, and brokenness. I knew, personally, what it felt like to be in bondage to my own thoughts and the thoughts of others. However, when I became willing to do the work, face the truth and take steps forward, I experienced freedom, joy and peace.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. I earned my Master’s of Science in Psychology and Counseling from Troy University. I have worked in clinical settings serving our military service members and adolescents. During this timeI helped clients with issues related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management, mandated court counseling, self esteem, Diversity, Diversity issues in the workplace and ADHD
I currently work as a school counselor full time so I’m available for sessions after school or during the day on weekends. With Summer break approaching I will available full time for sessions with some weekend availability.
My counseling style Is a combination of empathy, compassion, tactful honesty and accountability. I think it’s important to build good rapport and mutual respect. Helping client’s take charge of their issues and advocating for yourself. I’m very opened minded and understand that we are human. I use a variety of counseling techniques like Cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, Narrative therapy, Client centered therapy, Solution focused therapy, mindfulness and psycho-education.
Reaching out for counseling is big deal and can be very challenging for some. So my goal is to be supportive in your efforts. I hope to empower you and help you acquire skills to tackle your issues and advocate for yourself.
I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology as well as a Masters degree in Social Work from Florida State University. My passion for helping people has always been something that was and is a part of me. I know that may sound cliche because many people in the field say this, however, helping others runs in my family, as my mom is also in the profession. She confirmed that passion within me that I knew I had and I am glad that I followed it. I have had fulfilling experiences within the field thus far and am excited to continue this journey with you!
I have experience working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, substance abuse, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and suicidal ideation. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in various settings including community mental health centers and agencies. I have been in the field long enough to really be able to develop my own style and take a genuine, collaborative therapeutic and non-judgmental approach to any client I’ve had the opportunity to help.
