I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in evidence-based therapies and approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families. My work focuses on areas like ADHD, DBT, and CBT. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to create meaningful changes in their lives.
I am Dr. Jennifer Richie, DNP, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). I completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at Chamberlain University, with my graduate degree earned at Georgetown University and my undergraduate degree at Drexel University. My background encompasses child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and addiction medicine.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps clients heal from trauma, reclaim self-trust, and create relationships rooted in consent, curiosity, and compassion. My work is grounded in EMDR, trauma-informed care, and systemic therapy. I also specialize in working with queer, trans, and polyamorous communities, helping clients explore identity, navigate complex relationships, and find safety in authenticity.
I approach therapy as a collaborative and affirming process—one where we slow down, notice what’s happening in your body, and make sense of your story without shame. My clinical background includes extensive training in dissociation, attachment, and complex trauma, as well as experience supporting survivors of narcissistic and relational abuse.
My goal is to offer a grounded, compassionate space for clients to rediscover their capacity for healing and wholeness.

I am a licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Slippery Rock University and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Liberty University. With over 14 years of experience in outpatient therapy and more than 5 years of supervising counseling interns and master’s-level clinicians, I bring both clinical expertise and a strong commitment to supporting fellow professionals in the field.
I have received specialized training in grief treatment using current evidence-based approaches across the lifespan, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My clinical experience spans a wide range of ages—from toddlers as young as 2 to individuals in their 80s—and I genuinely enjoy working with all age groups.
