I often use fitness, animal training, or parenting references to help you make sense of things. I enjoy guiding first responders/military/veterans through the "ick" left by critical incidents. I also work with older adolescents and adults, providing support through life transitions, relationship issues (familial/friendship/romantic), anxiety, trauma, fitness/body image concerns, and more! My big floofy dog may sometimes make an appearance! (And in extremely rare cases, my toddler).
My name is Shirley Bradley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Woker in the state of CT and a Licensed Independent Social Worker Clinical Practice in the state of SC. I also have a lot of experience with grief/bereavement support groups.
Most of us haven’t made it through life without a few bruises. Sometimes we lose touch with ourselves along the way, shaped by what we’ve been through and the weight of those experiences.
That doesn’t mean anything is wrong with you. It means you adapted. Sometimes beautifully. Sometimes painfully. Often both.
Therapy is a space to slow down, get curious, and gently begin untangling what you’ve been carrying. Together, we can explore your story with compassion, reconnect with who you are beneath old patterns, and move toward a way of living that feels more aligned, grounded, and authentic.
Hi, I'm Sharon Harris, Licensed Therapist with 40 years of experience helping individuals navigate life transitions, aging process and role as a caregiver, medical issues, depression and anxiety. I earned my degree from Columbia University School of Social Work. Over the years my specialty has focused on geriatrics and disabled individuals. My goal is to create a warm, safe, non-judgemental space where we can work together toward your personal growth
As a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree from The National Catholic School of Social Services, I bring extensive experience from my work in university-based teaching hospitals and ambulatory care clinics. My practice focuses on supporting adults and their caregivers through challenges such as anxiety, depression, complex medical conditions (acute and chronic), medical trauma, loss, grief, and significant life transitions.
I have a specialization in guiding individuals and their caregivers through the cancer journey, encompassing every phase—from diagnosis and treatment to recovery, survivorship, and end-of-life care. I have also worked extensively with patients undergoing stem cell transplants, CAR-T and immunotherapy.
My training and experience also includes helping individuals manage disorders of the brain-gut interaction. Support, education and strategies address the connection between the mind and gastrointestinal health. Recognizing that everyday stressors can greatly affect your well-being, I adapt my clinical approach to suit a variety of life situations, always tailoring care to meet your unique needs.

I want you to know that when you come into therapy with me, you don’t have to pretend, minimize, or hold everything together. You get to show up exactly as you are — overwhelmed, hopeful, exhausted, confused, motivated, or anything in between. We take it from there together.
My favorite part of this work has always been sitting with people one‐on‐one. That’s where real connection and real healing happen. I genuinely enjoy getting to know who you are, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping might feel different.
My style is warm, steady, and honest. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you understand the experiences and patterns that are shaping your life. I’m also practical — I like to offer tools and strategies you can actually use in your day‐to‐day life, not just in the therapy room.
I work with people dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, major transitions, and substance use concerns. But most importantly, I work with people who feel stuck or weighed down and aren’t sure how to move forward. Everyone deserves a space where they can breathe and be supported.
Something I tell clients often is this: I don’t want you to just feel better — I want you to be well. Feeling better can be temporary. Being well means building insight, healing, and lasting change.
My goal is simple: to help you feel safe, understood, and supported as you find your footing and move toward what’s healthier and more meaningful for you.
I’m a psychotherapist with 15 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families untangle life’s trickiest knots. I specialize in depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, anger, relationship & attachment issues. Think of me as your emotional toolkit - I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailored to fit your unique needs.
