Since seeing how the community health system hasn't worked for many in the Southwest, I want therapy to be accessible for my clients. So, I can come to you or my office or virtually! I am 1 of only a couple Spanish-speaking therapist in our region, so I work a lot with the immigrant community. Although I am not Latine, I have worked alongside the Latine community for over 10 years and it is a cultural home for me. Whether I am speaking English or Spanish, my personality still comes through. I also work in homelessness, so I'm comfortable with issues like housing insecurity, substance use, psychosis, suicidality & case management.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker experienced in helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and major life changes. I have a strong background in both mental health and addiction recovery, which allows me to meet clients with empathy, honesty, and real-world understanding.
My work is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. I use CBT, grounding techniques, and practical coping tools to support clients in building emotional stability, confidence, and resilience. I believe healing happens when you feel safe, heard, and empowered.
I am a clinical forensic psychologist with over 35 years of experience working the matters that relate to psychology and the law. I have been licensed in 5 states, most recently in Colorado.
I believe in your own ability to heal and feel whole in this life. Whether this statement feels true in this moment or are questioning 'How do I start that process?'. I want to explore who that person is inside of you that craves to be known and seen.
I have 12+ years of clinical experience with outpatient/inpatient clients, crisis work, and supervising other therapists. Working with adults clients around trauma, self-exploration, life transitions, chronic illness, spiritual or existential issues, and grief/loss. I bring a sense of humor and an easy, informal approach to this deep and meaningful work.
