I have worked in the mental health field for approximately 10 years in different capacities. I have worked in the community assisting families, working with low income and more affluent individuals, parenting and assigning with supporting children with behaviors impacting their lives. I am committed to helping individuals learn to build healthier relationships with themselves as well as listening to your wants/needs. My work focuses on assisting you in targeting ineffective behaviors, habits, beliefs that impact your life. I believe in collaboration to helping you reach your goals.
I am a board -certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and certified energy medicine practitioner. Using and integrative approach including medication management, nutritional supplements and energetic technology, I incorporate holistic mind/body healing modalities to restore the energetic balance of my clients thereby facilitate healing and wellbeing.
I’m dedicated to helping clients create meaningful change through a collaborative, compassionate, and goal oriented approach. I specialize in crisis intervention and draw from proven, evidence-based therapies (EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, ERP) tailored to your unique needs. I believe every person’s story is unique, and I work to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore challenges, build on strengths, and move toward the life you want. I earned my Master’s in Educational & Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University and have received specialized training in trauma focused care and crisis interventions. I’ve worked in community mental health settings, crisis intervention programs, and private practice; which has allowed me to support individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
I’m warm and real, but I’ll also call you out when I see you getting in your own way. I believe emotions carry important information, and the goal isn’t to get rid of them. It’s to learn how to sit with them and respond in a new way. My background includes community mental health, school settings, PHP, IOP, short-term residential, and long-term transitional care, which has shaped a direct and collaborative style that’s all about helping you do something differently.
I'm curious and inquisitive. Be prepared to dig deep and be questioned until we get to the root of an issue. I find this method usually helps someone figure out what's really been going on!
I create a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where clients can feel safe to express themselves openly. My goal is to foster a space of empathy and understanding, where you feel truly heard and valued. Working with me feels collaborative and client-centered—I'll meet you where you are, tailoring the process to your unique needs and pace, while gently guiding you toward insight and personal growth.
