Hi, I’m Dr. Jackie Friend, a licensed clinical psychologist and LMFT in California, and I specialize in helping high-functioning women, mothers, artists, and creators heal the patterns that keep them stuck in burnout, overthinking, perfectionism, and disconnection from their authentic voice. My background includes a doctorate in clinical psychology with advanced training in trauma, attachment, EMDR, family systems, and mind-body healing. I’ve also worked as a clinical director, professor, and supervisor, training future therapists in trauma-informed and relational care. I especially love supporting creatives navigating anxiety, identity shifts, motherhood, relationship pain, visibility fears, and the emotional complexity of building meaningful work. My style blends deep clinical expertise with warmth, intuition, and a whole-person approach that honors both the psyche and the creative spirit.
I have a passion for helping individuals heal from trauma and navigate changes in their life. I have extensive training in trauma informed modalities, and have had excellent outcomes.
