I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of Frontier Nursing University, with over 11 years of nursing experience and one year of advanced clinical training across outpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, inpatient detoxification, skilled nursing facilities, and telehealth. I provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, substance use disorders, and psychotic disorders, including complex and co-occurring presentations. My clinical background includes crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, stabilization, and long-term outpatient care focused on functional improvement and sustained recovery.
Justin Salandanan has been in the field of psychiatry for over a decade and has been treating adult clients of various ethnic backgrounds for several years. Justin specializes in the medication management of depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances.
Throughout my career, I have been motivated by a desire to improve patient outcomes and promote equitable healthcare access, especially for underserved communities. As an FNP-BC, I have assessed, diagnosed, and treated a wide range of chronic and acute conditions. Meanwhile, my role as a PMHNP-BC has allowed me to address complex mental health issues while recognizing the strong link between psychological and physical well-being. These experiences have reinforced my belief in holistic care and compassionate patient treatment.
