Hi, I’m Tina Chen, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping clients feel their best. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and ADHD, and I combine medication management with practical tools from CBT and positive psychology. With advanced training from California Baptist University and National University, I focus on creating a supportive, collaborative space where you can build confidence, resilience, and balance in your everyday life.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety and depression, including overthinking, low motivation, feeling overwhelmed, and a loss of interest in daily life.
Many of my clients come in feeling mentally exhausted, stuck in their thoughts, or unsure why things feel harder than they should. I work with adults of all ages, but I have a strong understanding of the challenges that often come up in early adulthood and major life transitions.
My goal is to help you better understand what’s going on and give you a clear, realistic path forward.
Hi! I am a board certified DNP-PMHNP-BC. I started my career in traditional health practices as a Fulbright Scholar in Sochi, Russia. I presented my research at the US Embassy in Moscow. Following the completion of my grant I attended New York University (NYU). From there I completed a residency at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Following this I entered and completed my doctorate at USD University of San Diego, California with a focus on digital telehealth treatment for psychiatric care. I have a passion for working with the veteran population and those seeking care outside the box. I recently completed my facilitation for psychadelic assisted therapy and have an additional practice in Denver, Colorado. I enjoy yoga, swimming and all the water sports!
Hi, and welcome! I am happy you are here to explore my offerings and a return to your wellbeing. A bit about me:
I am a board-certified, doctorally prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 17 years of experience spanning acute care, crisis response, psychiatric nursing, and public health. I offer integrative psychiatric care that blends evidence-based medicine with holistic, trauma-informed approaches. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, grief, life transitions, and healthcare-related burnout.
Our work together will feel collaborative, grounded, and deeply respectful of your story. You can expect a therapeutic relationship rooted in listening, presence, and curiosity—where your values and goals shape the course of treatment. I aim to create a safe space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal and thrive.
Outside of work, I love being active in nature, dancing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with my friends, family, and my beloved dog.
Welcome! I’m Sarah Stewart, and I specialize in medication management for adults dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. Together, we’ll explore your goals, strengths, and patterns to create a treatment plan that feels personal and empowering. My approach blends evidence-based care with compassion and collaboration—helping you find both immediate relief and lasting stability. You deserve care that meets you where you are and helps you move toward a more grounded, confident version of yourself.
I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we work together to understand your unique needs and goals.
I believe healing happens when patients feel seen, heard, and empowered. My role is to walk alongside you, offering tools, education, and medication management tailored to your individual journey.
I completed my training as a PMHNP in California and have experience in both emergency and outpatient mental health settings.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your mental health journey, I look forward to working together to build a plan that supports your well-being.
